Ocean City

The Ocean City Convention Center will be the site of the Labor Day Weekend Arts and Crafts Festival, tomorrow through Sunday. Visitors can browse crafts, housewares, decorative items and more.

The Labor Day Weekend Concerts at North Division Street present the Vogues on Saturday and Still Surfin' on Sunday. Bring a chair or blanket.

The arts and crafts festival runs 10 a.m.-5 p.m. tomorrow-Sunday at the Convention Center, 40th Street and the Bay. The concerts take place at 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday on the beach at North Division Street. All events are free. Call 800-OC-OCEAN.

Philadelphia

Although the Philadelphia Fringe Festival has a new name this year, visitors will still enjoy the same avant-garde attractions and entertainment. This year the festival has, in name, been divided into the Philadelphia Live Arts Festival and the Philly Fringe. Both events will run concurrently, tomorrow through Sept. 18, at Philadelphia area venues.

The Philadelphia Live Arts Festival presents national, international and Philly-based artists. including Akira Kasai, Richard Maxwell and the New York City Players and Shen Wei Dance Arts. More than 50 theater, music, dance, poetry and visual-arts groups will perform.

The Philly Fringe offers more than 150 artist-produced shows, including performance art, puppetry, film, theater, dance, music, poetry and other nontraditional and interdisciplinary art,

Lancaster, Pa.

The Long's Park Art and Craft Festival in Lancaster, Pa., has been an annual event for 25 years. And this, the 26th year for the juried festival, features ceramics, jewelry, leather goods, paintings, sculpture, apparel, photography, baskets and more, from 200 exhibitors.

The festival also has a food court, live entertainment and an arts workshop for youngsters.

The Long's Park Art and Craft Festival runs 10 a.m.-6 p.m. tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday at Long's Park, off U.S. 30 at the Harrisburg Pike/Park City Center Exit in Lancaster, Pa. $9; free for ages 12 and under. $12 admission is good for all four days.
