Lee McCabe named to task force on needs of mentally ill

Lee McCabe, associate professor in the Johns Hopkins University Department of Psychiatry, has been appointed vice chairman of Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr.'s Task Force on the Needs of Persons with Co-Occurring Mental Illness and Substance Abuse Disorders.

He is president of the Maryland Psychological Association in Columbia.

Erin Eckert named to Intuit's customer council

Erin E. Eckert of Columbia-based CBIZ Financial Solutions has been named to the 16-member national Accountant and Advisor Customer Council for Intuit Inc., a business and financial-management solutions provider for small businesses, consumers and accounting professionals.

Council members will share insights and expertise with Intuit to assist the company in the development of new products and services.

Intuit formed the council as part of an initiative to develop technology solutions that address the needs of its clients.

Director for PCA Group attends industry conference

B. Jennine Anderson, a director of The PCA Group accounting and consulting firm, recently attended the National Not-For-Profit Industry Conference held by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Anderson manages PCA's Not-For-Profit Special Industry Group, which provides audit, tax and consulting services to national trade associations and other nonprofits.
