Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Arrest: Oliver Robinson of the 1300 block of Gorsuch Ave. was arrested yesterday by the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a charge of first-degree murder. Robinson, 41, is accused of shooting Brenda Humbert, 35, of the 1600 block of Bakbury Court in the back of the head about 1 a.m. June 9 in the 1600 block of N. Mount St. He was held without bail at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Southeastern District

Robbery/shooting: A gunman shot 21-year-old Eric Green in the right ankle and left knee after robbing him of his cell phone and bicycle about 4 p.m. Tuesday in a courtyard in the 1000 block of Billie Holiday Court. He was treated at an area hospital.

Carjacking: A driver was stopped at a red light in the 1200 block of Aisquith St. about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday when a gunman forced him out of his maroon 2001 Mitsubishi with tags MNF 875 and took the vehicle.

Central District

Theft from vehicle: Fifteen compact discs, a videocassette recorder, 13 music tapes and $10 in quarters were stolen Tuesday from a 1996 Chevrolet pickup truck parked in the 100 block of Hopkins Place.

Robbery try: A woman, 60, was about to enter the rear of her home in the 1200 block of Jordan Alley about 8:40 p.m. Tuesday when a man grabbed her around the neck and attempted to rob her. When she cried out, he fled.

Northwestern District

Shooting: William English, 23, was in serious condition at Sinai Hospital after being shot in the back about 11:45 p.m. Monday in the 2800 block of Waldorf Ave.

Southern District

Theft: A 40-cc. motor scooter valued at $1,500 was stolen Tuesday in the 100 block of E. Barney St.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary/arson: While the occupants were away between Aug. 18 and Monday, someone entered a house in the 6600 block of Ridgeborne Drive through a rear sliding glass door and set fire to a second-floor bedroom. The fire was confined to the bedroom, and no property appeared missing.

Robbery: Police were seeking four men who forcibly entered a house in the first block of Latimer Court about 7:15 p.m. Tuesday and robbed the owner of a television, telephone and other property - all valued at $2,600.

Franklin Precinct

Robbery: Two female employees of Tienda Rosita 3D Inc. in the 200 block of Reisterstown Road were about to make a night deposit at a nearby bank about 9 p.m. Tuesday when a gunman robbed them of a bank bag with an undisclosed sum of money.
