City police said they knew of no suspect or motive in the fatal shooting late Sunday of a man as he and his girlfriend walked along a street in Northwest Baltimore.

Deandre Moore, 28, whose address in Cherry Hill was not disclosed, was walking with his friend in the 2600 block of Oswego Ave. in the Central Park Heights area about 10:30 p.m. when a gunman shot him several times in the head and upper body, said homicide Detective Mike Baier.

Moore was pronounced dead at the scene. His companion, whose name was not divulged, was not harmed, Baier said.

Anyone with information was urged to call 410-396-2100.
