On August 17, 2004; KENNETH J., 87, of Riderwood Village in Silver Spring, MD; formerly of Greenbelt, MD, and 26 years in Fort Collins, CO. Born June 10, 1917 in Geneseo, NY, he was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII, receiving the Purple Heart. He retired from the U.S. Dept of Interior, where he was the editor of "Wildlife Review". He was the beloved husband of the late Helen M. Chiavetta. He is survived by his beloved daughters, Roberta L. Mc Namara and Rebecca C. (Thomas F.) Swartz; and three grandchildren, Douglas N. and Kenneth M. Mc Namara, and Kristi E. Swartz. Memorial Service will be held at Riderwood Village Chapel (Gracefield Road), Silver Spring, MD. On Saturday, October 2, 2004 at 2 P.M. Interment in Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: National Wildlife Federation-Memorials, 11100 Wildlife Center Drive, Reston, VA 20190. Arrangements by Beall Funeral Home; Bowie, MD.
