Italian Festival

Celebrate Italian culture at the 76th annual St. Gabriel Italian Festival from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Listen to live music while sampling Italian food and wine.

The festival will be held in Little Italy, at Stiles and Exeter streets. Admission is $1. Call 410-675-7275.

`Civil War Days'

Watch as the fate of Maryland and the country is decided again Saturday and Sunday at Fort McHenry's "Civil War Days." Enjoy Civil War era music, see troops march and encourage Union soldiers on parade. Take your kids to the fort's children's room after a guided tour. Dress them up in reproduction uniforms, show them Civil War artifacts and introduce them to democracy with a mock vote on whether to change Maryland's state song.

Fort McHenry's re-enactment of the early Civil War years will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 for adults over 17 and free for children under 17. Baltimore Brass will perform at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. each day. Fort McHenry is at the east end of East Fort Avenue. Call 410-962-4290.

Wiggles concert

See the Wiggles in concert Tuesday at 1st Mariner Arena. Watch Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and Captain Feathersword the Friendly Pirate. Enjoy their educational songs with your preschooler.
