Kachadourian, Marguerite Walter

MARGUERITE WALTER KACHADOURIAN, 86, of Purcellville, died at home on August 16, 2004. She was born in Boring, Maryland, to Virgil David Walter and Beulah Adele Bolte Blizzard Walter. Marge grew up in Baltimore, and has spent the past 26 years living in Purcellville. Marge married George Kachadourian on November 24, 1949. For over 54 years, she provided and warm and loving home to her husband and two sons; soothing their wounds, and comforting them; always keeping them safe, secure and well fed. An accomplished crafter in sewing, knitting, aned needlepoint, her crochet won prizes at the Maryland State Fair. While living in Northern Virginia, she joined a quilting group and produced over a dozen quilts. Like her father before her, Marge was a lifelong baseball fan attending many games and always rooting for the Baltimore Orioles. Survivors include her husband, George Kachadourian; sons David Walter Kachadourian and Kevin George Kachadourian; and grandchildren, Stephen and Katie Kachmyers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 18, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 P.M. at Hall Funeral Home of Purcellville, VA. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 19 at 10 A.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Upperco, Maryland at 2 P.M. Memorials may be sent to The Hospices of the National Capital Region, 9300 Lee Highway, Suite 500, Fairfax, VA 22031-1207 and to the Blue Ridge Bible Church, P.O. Box 2187, Purcellville, Virginia 20134. Arrangements are by Hall Funeral Home of Purcellville.
