Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Victim named: Police yesterday identified Andre Adams, 24, of the 1000 block of New Hope Circle as the man shot early Saturday outside Q's Bar in the 2500 block of E. Monument St. and who died 30 minutes later at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Mike Hammel at 410-396-2100.

Northeastern District

Theft/arrest: A Northeast Baltimore man was arrested Saturday when he tried to leave Rite Aid in the 3400 block of Belair Road without paying for $12 worth of toiletries. Charged with theft was Leroy Goodwin, 54, of the 5900 block of St. Regis Road.

Northwestern District

Arson: Police were seeking the person who set fire to a 2003 Dodge Stratus with tags NAY 149 that was parked over the weekend in the 2500 block of Talbot Road. The car had not been reported stolen and was destroyed.

Western District

Burglary: Three oak fireplace mantels were stolen from a house in the 1800 block of N. Mount St. between Aug. 8 and Wednesday. The theft was reported Friday.

Robbery: A man, 39, was walking in the 2000 block of McKean Ave. about 3 a.m. Saturday when an unarmed man robbed him of $35.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Arrest: A Florida man has been arrested and charged with third-degree sexual assault and interfering with the legal custody of a 14-year-old girl he allegedly transported from Winterhaven, Fla., to Maryland. Police in Winterhaven notified county police that the girl was in the illegal custody of a man since Aug. 2 and was in the area. On Thursday, police stopped a car driven by Alfardo Jovel Torres, 31, of Winterhaven at Kenwood Avenue and Golden Ring Road and arrested him. Torres, who was an acquaintance of the girls' mother, was being held on $15,000 bail. The girl was to have been returned to her mother in Winterhaven.

Essex Precinct

Stabbing: Terrell Nicholson, 21, of the 3200 block of Elmora Ave. in Baltimore is being sought after being charged in a warrant with attempted murder in the stabbing of Amanda Griffin, 24. Griffin had left a bar in the 800 block of S. Marlyn Ave. and was nearing a convenience store about 2 a.m. Saturday when she was attacked and stabbed in the back, arms and torso. Griffin was in good condition at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A sound system valued at nearly $1,500 was stolen Saturday from the trunk of a car parked in the rear yard of a house in the 7800 block of Wendover Ave.

Towson Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A 1998 Mazda 626 with tags PDJ 680 was stolen Saturday from the parking lot of Applebee's restaurant in the 8600 block of LaSalle Road.

Franklin Precinct

Burglary: Someone broke into M.V. Watch & Jewelry Center in the 4000 block of 7 Mile Lane early Saturday and stole several pieces of jewelry.

Robbery: Two gunmen robbed Royal Farms in the 2300 block of Smith Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money about 11:30 p.m. Friday.
