Police arrested one man yesterday and are searching for others in connection with a fatal shooting outside a Little Italy restaurant.

Police found the man after witnesses reported the license plate number of a black sport utility vehicle that sped away from Mo's Fisherman's Wharf on Thursday night immediately after the shooting.

Officers spotted the car yesterday morning in the 1700 block of Division St. in West Baltimore and arrested the man who was looking at the SUV's flat tire.

Antoine Harris Sr., 33, of the 1700 block of Division St. was charged with first-degree murder, Detective Irv Bradley said. Harris was being held last night at the Central Booking and Intake Center.

He and the victim -- 35- year-old Darrell Aaron Alexander -- were part of a group that had been eating and drinking at the restaurant in the 200 block of President St., Bradley said. The group emerged from the restaurant shortly before midnight, and one of the men shot Alexander. The rest of the group walked quickly to a black SUV and drove toward the Jones Falls Expressway, Bradley said. Witnesses identified Harris as part of the group.

Police are investigating whether the shooting is drug-related, Bradley said.

Anyone with information is urged to call Bradley, Detective Dave Peckoo or Detective Juan Diaz at 410-396-2100.
