Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Arrests: Two men charged in warrants with attempted murder in the shooting May 2 of a 16-year-old boy in the 2400 block of Loch Raven Road have been arrested. Davon Baker, 18, of the 1600 block of Holbrook St. was arrested Tuesday in the 1700 block of Harford Ave. by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force. The other -- served with the warrant at Central Booking and Intake Center, where he was being held in an unrelated assault case -- was identified as Anthony Wing, 17, of the 1000 block of Webb Court. He was charged as an adult.

Southwestern District

Theft: Tools valued at $775 were stolen Tuesday from a drug treatment center in the 4200 block of Connecticut Ave.

Western District

Shooting/arrest: Walter Olivis was arrested Wednesday and charged with attempted murder in the shooting earlier that day of his wife, Cynthia, 45, during an argument outside their home in the 500 block of N. Carey St. The wife -- shot in the chest and back -- was in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center, while Olivis was being held at Central Booking.

Arrest: Moments after entering a Calvert Street courthouse for arraignment on a drug charge, Jelani Holmes, 21, of the 1400 block of Pennsylvania Ave. was arrested by the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a charge of attempted murder. Holmes is accused of shooting Edward Jones, 30, of New York City on July 26 in the 800 block of N. Fremont Ave.

Central District

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a 19-year-old of his wallet containing $70 in the 700 block of N. Charles St. about 7:30 a.m. yesterday.

Theft: More than $500, video games, clothing and dental equipment were stolen Wednesday from a 1995 Dodge truck in the 800 block of Park Ave.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Arrest: Officer Michael Lewis was assaulted by a male trespasser he had ordered to leave Kingsley Park Apartments on Stemmers Run Road on Tuesday evening. The trespasser -- who had a .357-caliber Smith & Wesson handgun under clothing he was carrying -- attempted to disarm Lewis. Charged with assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest was Jamel Johnson, 21, of the 100 block of Latimore Court.

Burglaries: Someone entered a shed in the 800 block of Corktree Road on Wednesday and stole a 2002 Honda all-terrain vehicle valued at $2,500. From the back yard of a house on the same street Wednesday, a 2003 Suzuki all-terrain vehicle valued at $6,000 was stolen, despite having been chained to a fence.

Parkville Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed Belisimo's Carryout in the 8600 block of Harford Road of an undisclosed sum of money about 10:15 p.m. Monday, and forced three employees into a walk-in freezer. The employees got out unharmed and called police.
