Fair schedule

The Carroll County 4-H/FFA Fair continues through tomorrow at the Carroll County Agriculture Center on Smith Avenue in Westminster.

Here is the schedule of activities for today and tomorrow, but fair-goers should be aware that programs can change without notice.

Today: Beef Cattle, Senior Citizens' and Grandparents' Day

8 a.m. to 9 a.m.: Senior citizen exhibits entered and judged in Blizzard Hall.

8 a.m. to 10 p.m.: Indoor exhibit building open.

9 a.m.: Informal demonstrations in Blizzard Hall.

9 a.m.: Beef cattle fitting and showing in Shipley Arena.

10 a.m. to noon: Small pet exhibit judging in Medford.

10:30 a.m.: Moo Beams in the activity tent.

11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: WTTR live interviews.

1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Senior citizen social activities in the extension office.

3 p.m.: Dairy steer show in Shipley Arena.

4 p.m. to 10 p.m.: WQSR live broadcast.

5 p.m.: Moo Beams on Finch Stage.

6 p.m.: Beef steer show in Shipley Arena.

6:30 p.m.: Grandparents' contest in the activity tent.

7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.: 1950s music by the Vogues on Finch Stage.

Tomorrow: Dairy Show, Pit Beef and Pork Dinner, and Livestock Sale Day

9 a.m.: Dairy cattle show in Shipley Arena.

11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: WTTR live interviews.

2 p.m.: Senior citizen exhibit release.

3 p.m.: Shepherd's lead contest in the activity tent.

4 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Pit beef and pork dinner (all you can eat) in the dining hall; tickets are sold at the door.

4 p.m. to 10 p.m.: WQSR live broadcast.

4:30 p.m.: Livestock buyers appreciation picnic in Shipley Arena.

5:30 p.m.: Livestock sale in Shipley Arena.

7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.: Music by Jay Henley and the Stone Broke Band on Finch Stage.

10 p.m.: Raffle drawings.

10:15 p.m.: Fair closes.
