Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Shooting: Devin Addison, 21, was seated in his Chevrolet Malibu and stopped in the 800 block of E. 28th St. about 10:20 p.m. Monday when someone fired shots that shattered two of its windows and struck him in an arm and left side. Addison drove to the 700 block of Exeter Hall Ave., where he was picked up by an ambulance crew and taken to Johns Hopkins Hospital. He was reported in good condition.

Western District

Arson: Someone entered an occupied rowhouse in the 2800 block of Harlem Ave. on July 31 and set fires in three rooms. No injuries were reported.

Northern District

Shooting: Shawn Harris, 43, was shot in both legs about 11:15 p.m. Monday by one of two men who had forced their way into his car. After Harris was ordered out of the vehicle in the 2200 block of Huntingdon Ave., he grabbed the car keys and was running toward a nearby house when he was shot. He was reported in good condition at Shock Trauma.

Southern District

Robbery: A 50-year-old man was standing near his home in the 1600 block of Elmtree St. about 9:30 p.m. Monday when a man he knows struck him over the head with a wrench and stole his eyeglasses.

Baltimore County

Cockeysville Precinct

Robbery: A female employee was followed into Moxley's Ice Cream Parlor in the 2100 block of York Road about 7 a.m. Monday by a man wearing a ski mask. He ordered her to turn off the alarm and open the safe. After taking an undisclosed sum of money, the man forced the employee onto the floor and told her to count to 100 before calling police. No weapon was displayed.
