County fair schedule

Carroll County 4-H/FFA Fair continues through Friday at the Carroll County Agriculture Center on Smith Avenue in Westminster.

Here is the schedule of activities for today and tomorrow. Fairgoers should be aware that programs can change without notice.

The schedule for today and tomorrow is as follows:

Today

English Horse Show

Dairy cattle, dairy steers and dairy goats arrive.

8 a.m.: Rabbit show; English horse show in the Horse Ring.

8 a.m. to 10 p.m.: Indoor exhibit Building open.

11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.: WTTR live interviews.

12:30 p.m.: Moo Beams in the Activity Tent.

1 p.m.: Livestock Skill-A-Thon in the extension office.

4 p.m.: Meat goat department show in Shipley Arena.

4 p.m. to 10 p.m.: WQSR live broadcast.

5 p.m.: Mini Fashion Revue in the Activity Tent.

6 p.m.: Beef clip out contest in Shipley Arena; Moo Beams on the Finch Stage.

6:30 p.m.: Entertainment by the Carroll County 4-H Performing Arts Club in the Activity Tent.

7 p.m.: "Be A Farmer" contest in the Therapeutic Riding Building; Dairy fit out contest in Shipley Arena.

8 p.m.: Entertainment by "Glen & The Gem Tones (Grease show performance on the Finch Stage.)

8:15 p.m.: Small animal dress up contest in Shipley Arena.

Tomorrow

Sheep, Goat and Children's Day

8 a.m. to 9 p.m.: Indoor Exhibit Building open.

8 a.m.: Bicycle rodeo at the Farm Museum.

9 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Children's Day activities in the Activity Tent.

9 a.m.: Sheep fitting and showing contest; dairy goat show in Shipley Arena.

10 a.m.: Moo Beams on the Finch Stage.

9:30 a.m.: Entry and judging of service learning exhibits.

11 a.m.: Small engine/lawn tractor contest in the Ag Center field.

2:30 p.m.: Moo Beams in the Activity Tent.

3 p.m.: Dairy goat team fit and show in Shipley Arena.

4 p.m.: Clover small pet show in the Activity Tent.

5 p.m.: Market sheep show in Shipley Arena.

6 p.m.: Dedication of the Danele Shipley Memorial Arena with Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich Jr. expected to attend.

7 p.m.: Skid steer contest in the Horse Ring; Entertainment by Salem Bottom Boys in the Activity Tent.
