The Presidio (8 p.m.-10 p.m., American Movie Classics) - Even if the plot has some holes, director Peter Hyams' 1988 melodrama remains enjoyable, thanks largely to the commanding presence of Sean Connery. Gone in Sixty Seconds (8 p.m.-10:30 p.m., TNT) - An update of a 1974 exploitation movie, producer Jerry Bruckheimer's 2000 action tale boasts several Oscar winners - but the cars are the stars. And Starring Pancho Villa as Himself (8 p.m.-10 p.m., HBO) - Infamous for the early-1900s rebellion he led against a Mexican dictatorship, Villa hired a U.S. film crew to document his army's activities. The true story is recalled in this seriocomic 2003 film, starring Antonio Banderas in the title role and Eion Bailey as a young production assistant who found himself in the midst of battle.

Lived to Tell (9 p.m.-10 p.m., Discovery) - Not everyone survives a crisis that threatens life and limb, but some who have discuss their experiences in this new special. One person recounts having been buried alive.

Her Hidden Truth (9 p.m.-11 p.m., Lifetime) - Falsely accused of killing her mother and baby sister in a fire, a young woman escapes a detention center and embarks on an investigation to clear her name. Kellie Martin, Antonio Sabato Jr. and Reed Diamond star.

In the Name of Science (10 p.m.-11 p.m., Discovery) - Lest this new special be mistaken for an episode of Junkyard Wars, remember that the machines constructed on that series are meant to stay on the ground. On this show, the aim is to convert a trailer into a rocket.
