Sinnott, E. Muriel Zinkand

On Saturday, July 24, 2004, E. MURIEL ZINKAND SINNOTT, age 95, of Valdosta passed away in Presbyterian Home in Quitman after a lengthy illness. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 25, 1908 to the late Joseph N. and Maria T. Nissen Zinkand. She was a NY University Alumna, a retired New York City High School Teacher and a member of the St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church. Mrs. Sinnott was an Honorary Member of the Alpha Kappa Delta Business and Professional Women's Club Inc., former President of American Association of University Women and former President Residents' Association, Presbyterian Nursing Home, Quitman, GA. She held a Student Pilot Certificate and was a member of the Women Flyers of America. Survivors include son John and Rose Marie of Valdosta, GA, grandchildren, Dr. James A. Sinnott and Jessica M. Sinnott, great-grandchildren Jeannette, T.J., John, Nicole, Alexander Sinnott. Memorial services will be held at 12:10 P.M, Wednesday, July 28, 2004, in the Chapel of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church with the Father John O'Brien officiating. Interment Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery, Baltimore, 11 a.m. July 29, 2004.
