HOWARD CRIME REPORT

The crime report is a sampling of crimes in Howard County compiled from police. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-313-3700.

East Columbia

Early April Way: 8400 block, Kings Contrivance. Someone entered an unlocked garage early July 21 and stole cash from a vehicle.

Robert Oliver Place: 5800 block, Oakland Mills. Two people were robbed of cash while walking on a footpath about 7 p.m. Monday. Two thieves fled toward the Grand Pointe Apartment complex.

Kilimanjaro Road: 9400 block, Oakland Mills. Two men displayed a silver-colored revolver and robbed two people of cell phones and jewelry late Monday.

West Columbia

Morning Glory Court: 5400 block, Harper's Choice. Someone broke into a shed and stole a moped and a bicycle July 21 or 22.

Ellicott City/Elkridge

Rogers Ave.: 3500 block, Ellicott City. Someone entered an unlocked shed and stole lawn equipment between July 11 and 16.

Golf Island Road: 2600 block, Ellicott City. Someone entered a home and stole computer equipment and liquor late Sunday or early Monday.

N. Laurel/Savage/Jessup

Carrollton Ave.: 8800 block, Savage. Someone broke into a detached shed through a window and stole a motorcycle July 21.

Washington Blvd.: 7900 block, Jessup. Police responding to a business alarm at El Patio restaurant found the front door smashed and an undisclosed amount of cash missing from a pried-open cash register early July 23.

Gorman Road: 8800 block, North Laurel. While on routine patrol, a police officer discovered that the front window of the Gorman Cleaners was smashed early July 23. Someone stole cash and a laptop computer.

Western Howard

Woodford Drive: 12100 block, Marriottsville. Someone broke into a construction-site storage shed and stole equipment and tools between Saturday and Monday.
