Mrs. Wheeler, who had studied photography, took photos of family members which she compiled in albums along with a detailed text.

She also enjoyed calligraphy and using her computer.

Services were yesterday at All Saints Cemetery in Reisterstown.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Wheeler is survived by a son, Jay "Monty" Wheeler of Bethany Beach, Del.; a daughter, Carol Lee Porter of Reisterstown; a brother, Dr. Jay Gore of Sonoma, Calif.; four grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
