Best, Bupp, Gardner take posts at GKV

GKV Communications named Kevin Best vice president and account manager for the Baltimore advertising, direct marketing and public relations agency. He is responsible for the management of several major advertising accounts, including the Maryland Office of Tourism Development, Shoppers Food and Pharmacy, and Gardiners Furniture. Formerly an account director with the Neiman Group in Harrisburg, Pa., the Owings Mills resident holds a master's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.

The agency also hired Susan Bupp and Carrie Gardner. Bupp, a Pasadena resident, is a print production manager. She is a graduate of the Pennsylvania School of Art & Design. Gardner, an account coordinator in the account services department, is a graduate of Lynchburg College and lives in Annapolis.

Levy, Feldhausen join McGuireWoods law firm

The law firm of McGuireWoods LLP announced that Jay E. Levy joined its Baltimore office as a partner, and Timothy J. Feldhausen as an associate.

Levy, formerly general counsel for North Arundel Health System, will specialize in health care regulatory and transactional issues and is the Baltimore office's first member in the 750-lawyer firm's new health care department.

A University of Maryland law graduate, he is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the American College of Health Care Executives.

Feldhausen is assigned to the corporate services department. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, he holds a law degree from George Washington University.

Greenberg names Hess, Arango vice presidents

Greenberg Commercial Corp. appointed John Hess Jr. as vice president and Gustavo E. Arango as vice president, project director, for the Owings Mill-based development and management company.

Hess manages development and leasing of the company's Alico Lakes Village project in Fort Myers, Fla. Formerly with Prime Retail, the Syracuse University graduate lives in Baltimore. Arango is managing construction of Hunt Valley Towne Centre and Annapolis Towne Centre at Parole. A Baltimore resident, he was formerly with The Rouse Co. and is a graduate of the University of Puerto Rico and Arizona State University.
