Lazy Sundays series

Relax outdoors and listen to music Sunday with a concert in Mount Vernon Place's West Park.

This installment of the Mount Vernon Cultural District's free Lazy Sundays concert series will feature the Eubie Blake Legacy Band.

The event takes place from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.

Zydeco at Ladew

After you've listened to jazz in the city, then head out to Harford County for a dose of zydeco music and other swamp tunes from the Crawdaddies.

The local act will performat Ladew Topiary Gardens from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, $7 for members and $3 for children.

Pop in Patterson

If pop and rock are more your speed, then Patterson Park is the place to be Sunday.

Neo-'60s act 9bobNOTE will break out a set from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. on Pagoda Hill.

Birds of Marshy Point

Walk through local lands and learn about bluebirds and bald eagles this weekend at Marshy Point Nature Center.

From 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, a naturalist will lead participants on a summer bird-watching expedition through the woods to the waterfront of Dundee Creek.

This program is free and open to all ages.
