On Friday, July 9, 2004 JAMES "Jamie" J. FERNANDEZ, 28, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Baltimore City, MD. Jamie (DJ J Me) was the co-founder of Roundtable Records, the first and only all drum n' base record shop in MD. A significant figure in Baltimore's electronic dance music club scene, Jamie was considered one of the most talented drum n' bass deejays in the area. In addition to his weekly Wednesday night residency at Club Sonar, he performed at nearly every related event in the city and surrounding areas. Jamie will be remembered as a cherished and loved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend. Our hearts are deeply saddened by this untimely loss. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Jamie is survived by his loving parents, Robert and Juanita Fernandez (Orange Park, FL), sister, Diane Fulton (Andrew), Grandparents, Manuel and Ascension Fernandez, Mercedes Basoa, nieces, Ella and Olivia Fulton, girlfriend, Cortney Gray, numerous devoted uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and his beloved cat, Gato.
