Charles E. Bienemann Jr., 63, partner in law firm

Charles E. Bienemann Jr., a partner in a Glen Burnie law firm and outdoor sports enthusiast, died of cancer July 5 at Johns Hopkins Hospital. The Pasadena resident was 63.

Mr. Bienemann, who was known as Ned, was born in Baltimore and raised in Ruxton. He was a 1958 graduate of Suffield Academy in Connecticut.

He earned his bachelor's degree from Yale University in 1962,and after serving in Army Intelligence, he earned his law degree from the University of Maryland.

Mr. Bienemann, who practiced estate and trust law, had been a partner at the Baltimore firm of Gordon, Feinblatt, Rothman, Hoffberger & Hollander, and since 1986 at Lechowicz and Davis in Glen Burnie.

Mr. Bienemann enjoyed skiing in Pennsylvania, the Rockies and Europe. During summers, he enjoyed boating and fishing.

In addition to gardening at his Pasadena home, he raised chickens, horses, sheep and pigs, family members said.

A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. July 30 at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, Boyce and Carrollton avenues, Ruxton.

Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Alison L. Asti, acting executive director of the Maryland Stadium Authority; a son, Daniel Andrew Asti Bienemann of Pasadena; a daughter, Tracey Ann Asti Bienemann of Pasadena; a brother, Jim Bienemann of Baltimore; and a sister, Cornelia Ellis Bienemann of New York City.
