Four area residents named to board of nonprofit group

The Rev. Mary Jayne Ledgerwood, assistant rector of St. John's Episcopal Church in Ellicott City, has been named to the board of the National Family Resiliency Center Inc., formerly the Children of Separation and Divorce Center.

Also named to the board were Brent Lydic, employee relations specialist with Ascend One Corp. in Columbia; Elizabeth Mahler, grants facilitator with the Howard County public school system; and J. Scott McGrew, an agent with State Farm Insurance in Ellicott City.

The National Family Resiliency Center, a private nonprofit organization with offices in Columbia and Rockville, offers counseling and education for parents, children and professionals.

Chief engineer hired by property manager

Mark Krause has been hired as chief engineer by NAI KLNB Management, a property-management firm serving companies in the Baltimore-Washington area.

Krause will be responsible for the maintenance of plumbing, heating and air conditioning systems; electrical and energy-management equipment; and other systems for commercial and industrial office buildings in the NAI KLNB portfolio.

The company manages more than 11 million square feet of retail, office and industrial space in the Baltimore-Washington area.
