Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Western District

Assault: Tyra Thompson, 20, was walking in the 1000 block of W. Lanvale St. about 2:15 a.m. Monday when a man grabbed her around the neck and shoved her into the wall of a nearby building. Thompson was not injured and knew of no reason for the attack.

Robbery: Police continue to seek a gunman who entered Ames Memorial Methodist Church in the 600 block of Baker St. at 7:30 p.m. July 1 and robbed several people attending a drug addiction meeting of an undisclosed sum of money.

Southeastern District

Burglary: Window blinds, tools and a 30-foot ladder - all valued at $400 - were stolen Tuesday from a house being renovated in the 3000 block of E. Pratt St.

Robbery: A 52-year-old man from Dundalk was stopped at a traffic signal in the 1800 block of E. Lombard St. about 5 a.m. Tuesday when two men entered his car and robbed him of his wallet containing $80.

Rape: A 29-year-old East Baltimore woman was talking to a man in the 700 block of E. Fayette St. about 1 a.m. Tuesday when he forced her behind the Shot Tower and raped her. The woman was treated at Mercy Medical Center.

Southern District

Theft from vehicle: A carrying case containing business and personal papers - all valued at $100 - was stolen Tuesday from a 2002 Isuzu Rodeo parked in the 900 block of Light St.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Stabbing: A male, 16, was fighting with an older male near the precinct station in the 6400 block of Windsor Mill Road about 11 p.m. Tuesday when the younger male was stabbed in the right side and back. The victim ran to the police station, whose officers summoned an ambulance that took the victim to Sinai Hospital. No arrest had been made. The victim was reported in good condition.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: Someone broke into a house under construction in the 700 block of Hidden Bluff Circle and stole a bath tub valued at $1,000.

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: A gunman robbed Honeygo Cleaners in the 8600 block of Honeygo Blvd. of more than $200 about 4:30 p.m. Tuesday. Before he fled, the gunman forced two female employees into a bathroom.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: Two deer stands and a ladder - all valued at $450 -were stolen Monday from the rear porch of a house in the 600 block of Dunwich Way.

Burglary: A DVD player, video games, an engagement ring and a wedding band - all valued at more than $3,000 - were stolen over the weekend from a house in the 2000 block of New Haven Drive.

Burglary: Someone broke into a house in the 800 block of Brunswick Road on Tuesday through a kitchen window and removed $1,800 from a shoe box.

Theft: A .22 caliber Smith & Wesson handgun valued at $170 was removed from the bedroom of a house in the 1900 block of Armco Way between July 2 and Tuesday.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: A quantity of methadone was stolen from Medicine Shoppe in the 7100 block of Darlington Drive by someone who entered the pharmacy through a rear door between July 3 and Tuesday after disabling the alarm system.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: A digital camera, DVD player, boom box radio and a lawn mower - all valued at $1,300 - were stolen Sunday from an apartment in the first block of Cherryland Court by someone using a key.

Burglary: More than $300 in cash and checks was stolen from S.S. White & Co. in the 10800 block of Williamson Lane between July 2 and Tuesday.

Burglary/vandalism: Someone entered the parking lot of G.E. Tignall & Co. in the first block of McCann Ave. between July 2 and Tuesday and spray-painted several trucks.
