Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Eastern District

Handgun arrest: A man was arrested about 6 p.m. Sunday after district officers saw him holding a gun and chasing a 40-year-old man in the 2500 block of E. Monument St., apparently as a result of a dispute. Police seized a .22-caliber Beretta and charged Kyung Park, 25, with possession of a handgun.

Southeastern District

Aggravated assault: An 18-year-old woman was reported in good condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital after being struck with a baseball bat by an unknown woman about 2 a.m. Sunday in the 200 block of S. Herring Court. Police said the assault apparently resulted from a dispute over a man.

Shooting: Three men approached a house in the 3500 block of Leverton Ave. about 4:25 a.m. Saturday, fired gunshots through windows and wounded the hand of resident Betty Mason, 28. Police said officers had been to the house several times suspecting that residents were setting off fireworks - an activity investigators believed to have prompted the shooting. Mason was treated at Union Memorial Hospital. Police were seeking Pablo Rodriguez, also of the 3500 block of Leverton, who was charged in a warrant with first-degree assault and a handgun offense.

Handgun arrest: Juan Gomez, 19, of the 1700 block of Eastern Ave. was arrested over the weekend after allegedly pointing a gun at a 22-year-old woman with whom he had argued. Police seized a .32-caliber handgun and two small plastic bags of suspected cocaine. Gomez was charged with drug and gun possession and first-degree assault.

Baltimore County

Wilkens Precinct

Strong-arm robbery: Two men attacked a guest at Day's Inn in the 5700 block of Baltimore National Pike about 2:30 a.m. Saturday after following him into an elevator. He was choked, hit and robbed of a gold necklace.

Franklin Precinct

Arson: A boy threw a lit firecracker into the hallway of an apartment building in the 8000 block of Woodgate Court on Saturday night, damaging carpeting, a door frame and door.

Burglary: Thirty-six pool cues and two glass cases, all worth $9,000, were stolen Saturday from Cagle's Billiards in the 11400 block of Cronridge Drive in Owings Mills. A pool table was also damaged. A window was broken to gain entry.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: Someone broke into a rowhouse in the 100 block of Dundalk Ave. between 10 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday and took a handgun, gold necklace and cash.

Cockeysville Precinct

Armed robbery: Two men robbed a Royal Farms store in the 500 block of Seminary Ave. about 11:40 p.m. Saturday. The robbers entered the store, one brandishing a silver handgun, and ordered two employees to lie on the floor. They took money from the cash register and several cartons of cigarettes. The loss in cash and merchandise was reported to be $482.72.
