Devil Rays update

The dream season for Tampa Bay keeps getting more improbable, and more historic. The Devil Rays have won 19 of their past 24 games and are 30-11 since May 20 - the best record in the majors - to take third place in the AL East. They already have more wins before the All-Star break than any time in club history. Before yesterday, the latest Tampa Bay had ever been two games above .500 was May 21, 1999. A 12-game winning streak ended on June 23, but not the Devil Rays' momentum. They've gone 5-0-1 in their past six series, and 10-1-2 in their past 13. Carl Crawford became the eighth player in major league history since 1900 to steal 100 bases before age 23. These teams have split eight games this season, with the Orioles winning three of five at home. Bell allowed five runs and 10 hits in 4 2/3 innings in a June 6 loss at Camden Yards.
