Maryland State Police suspect that a man who assaulted a female real estate agent in a Carroll County model home in April may be visiting model homes in Harford County, according to Maj. Greg Shipley.

State police said a man matching the description of the assailant in Carroll County has been seen at model homes in Harford County staffed by female real estate agents during the past two weeks.

In April, a man assaulted a female real estate agent in an Eldersburg model home by striking her head from behind with a blunt object, police said. The agent suffered minor injuries and was able to fend off the attacker, who fled in a newer-model green GMC sport utility vehicle, according to police.

Police describe the man as white, in his 40s, with short red hair, blue eyes, a neatly trimmed full beard and possibly a nickel-sized bump on his cheek.

Police ask that anyone with information contact the Maryland State Police, Westminster Barracks, at 410-386-3000.
