July 02, 2004

A Severn man died after being pulled from Stoney Creek yesterday afternoon by Anne Arundel County firefighters.

Joshua Thomas Holman, 18, of the 8100 block of Beverly Road was pronounced dead at Harbor Hospital shortly after arriving there about 4 p.m., said county police Capt. Tim Bowman.

"It's unclear whether he suffered some sort of medical emergency or just couldn't swim," said fire Capt. Michael Cox, a department spokesman.
