Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northern District

Robbery/arrests: A teen-age girl was robbed of about $6 and a Mickey Mouse watch by two men in the 500 block of E. 35th St. about 11 a.m. Tuesday, and alerted police officers in the vicinity. One suspect was arrested on the street, and the other was pursued and barricaded himself in a house nearby. Police surrounded the house until the man surrendered. Names of those arrested were not available yesterday.

Eastern District

Larceny: A Sony radio-television and DVD player were taken from a 1996 Honda Accord in the 1700 block of Barnes St. sometime between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday by someone who pried open the driver's side window. The items were valued at more than $2,000.

Southeastern District

Burglary: Construction tools valued at $11,415 were stolen from a home under renovation in the 100 block of N. East Ave. between June 21 and Tuesday.

Stolen vehicle: A maroon 1999 Plymouth Voyager minivan with tags M240814 was stolen from the 600 block of Highland Ave. late Monday.

Northwestern District

Larceny: Two mountain bikes and a children's bicycle were stolen from an apartment building in the 3600 block of Fords Lane between Saturday and Monday.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 4300 block of Oakfield Ave. through a bedroom window and took a video game system, videocassette recorder, credit cards and an unknown amount of cash Sunday or Monday.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery: Two men approached an employee of Cactus Willie's restaurant at 5:30 p.m. Monday and indicated they were interested in buying marijuana. The employee said he could call someone and procure the marijuana, and met the men in a restroom to talk further, police said. But one of them forced the employee against a wall and removed $20 from his pocket.

North Point Precinct

Burglary: Someone broke into a shed in the 200 block of Trappe Road between 7:30 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Monday and stole a Craftsman lawnmower valued at $400.

Essex Precinct

Burglary/arrest: A man was arrested about 3 a.m. Tuesday after police caught him fleeing the scene of a burglary at The Medicine Shoppe in the 900 block of Eastern Blvd.

Robbery: A man was punched in the face twice and knocked to the ground by two boys about 10:50 a.m. Tuesday at a High's store at Bird River and Middle River roads. The youths took $23 from the man, as well as a gold necklace and bracelet. Police arrested two suspects.
