HCC board of trustees elects chair, vice chair

The Harford Community College board of trustees has elected Lee D. McDaniel as chairman and Howard K. McComas IV as vice chairman.

McDaniel, who was appointed to the board in 2000, served as vice chairman for 2003-2004. He is the owner of an 850-acre beef and crop farm and a graduate of Cornell University.

McComas, who joined the HCC board in December, is a graduate of Appalachian State University. He is the vice president of McComas Funeral Home, a family business.
