June 16, 2004|By FROM STAFF REPORTS

An Internet and telephone auction of more than 100 sports photographs taken by Morton Tadder, the Orioles' team photographer for 40 years, ends tomorrow at midnight.

On the block are Orioles team photos from 1954 to 2003, archival prints taken during the team's 1966 World Series championship, and game shots of Orioles greats Brooks Robinson, Jim Palmer, Cal Ripken and Frank Robinson.

Tadder, who retired last year, also is auctioning a number of Baltimore Colts photos - including John Unitas, Bert Jones and John Mackey - as well as pictures he took of the Beatles during the group's 1964 concert at the Baltimore Civic Center.
