Summer Concert Preview

June 10, 2004

No season seems to draw more concerts to the area than summer. Maybe musicians are dormant in cooler weather? Nah, it's more likely that there are more venues, as parks, outdoor bars and village centers morph into viable concert hosts when the clouds clear. Either way, whether you're looking to see a big-name act at a city arena, a local artist on a nearby green or anything in between, now's the time to do it.

Take a look at LIVE's guide to a season of sounds and figure out how to use your budgeted pennies (or, in the case of the big-name shows, twenties) on tickets and your budgeted leisure time on free shows this year.
