On June 4, 2004, GEORGE W.; devoted husband of Alice E. Mangels Smith; devoted brother of Laura Wiecinski, Joseph Smith, Charolette Ballesteri, Carolyn Allen and Kenneth Smith. Also survived by his brothers-in-law William Mangles and his wife Margaret and Conrad Mangles and his wife Alice and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Lassahn Funeral Home, Inc., 7401 Belair Road, Tuesday and Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. A Funeral Service will be held at Zion Church (Golden Ring), on Thursday at 11 A.M. Interment Oak Lawn Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Zion Church and or the American Cancer Society.
