On May 27, 2004, CARL N. COLLINS, 81, of Schenectady, NY, died at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady after a long illness. Carl was born in Baltimore and was a resident of Maryland until moving to Schenectady in 1999 to be with his son. He graduated from Baltimore City College and earned a degree in business from Johns Hopkins University. Carl served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II in the South Pacific. He worked for the Western Maryland Railway and CSS corp for 41 years in the freight rate department. He is survived by his son Michael Collins, his wife Stella, and his grandchildren Brian and Diane Collins. He is also survived by his aunt Estelle Nelson, his brother Walter Collins, his sister Beverlee Conlin and his nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at LOUDON PARK FUNERAL HOME, 3620 Wilkens Avenue, Baltimore, MD, on Wednesday, June 2, at 11 A.M. with the Interment to immediately follow in Loudon park Cemetery.
