Lacrosse fans rejoice: LAXFEST is back, and it's happening this weekend at Rash Field.

The festivities kick off tomorrow at the Inner Harbor Amphitheatre, where hundreds of sports fans will participate in a pep rally for the teams playing in this weekend's NCAA lacrosse championships at M&T Bank Stadium.

The party continues Saturday and Sunday on Rash Field, where interactive games and lacrosse vendors will be stationed all day long.

Admission is free.

Pep rally hours are 5 p.m.-6:15 p.m. Festival hours are noon-10 p.m. Saturday and noon-9:30 p.m. Sunday. Call 410-729-1100 or visit www.laxfest.com.

COMING UP

Alcohol and animals aren't often the best mix, but things are different at Brew at the Zoo, the annual spring beer and wine festival. Taste local beers and wines, listen to music and pay a visit to the animals during Saturday's event, which runs 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Baltimore Zoo is in Druid Hill Park. Tickets to the event are $20 at the door per person, $12 for members. Tickets include zoo admission. For more information, call 410-396-7102.
