Crawford, Shirley Mae

On Friday, May 21, 2004, SHIRLEY MAE CRAWFORD (nee Hammel), of Brooksville, FL passed away. She was born on March 19, 1937, the daughter of the late Henry P. and Jennie C. Hammel. She retired as a Vending Hostess, and moved from Westminster, MD to FL in 1998. She enjoyed watersports, music, poetry and books. She is survived by her beloved husband of 33 years, H. Michael Crawford of Brooksville, FL; her daughter, Diane Mc Court of Hampstead; her son, Jonathan Crawford of Ellicott City; her brother, Pastor Vincent Hammel of Baltimore; her sister, Mary Ellen Freed of Westminster; and four grandchildren, Jennifer and Thomas Mc Court of Hampstead, and Elizabeth and Theodore Crawford of Ellicott City. A small Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 26 at 7:30 PM, at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 601 Hammonds Lane, Brooklyn Park.
