Toledo 8, Ottawa 1: Dave Borkowski allowed eight hits and three runs in six innings and Jose Rodriguez gave up two home runs in relief as the Mud Hens beat the visiting Lynx (16-22).

Double-A Eastern League

Akron 7, Bowie 4: Catcher Eli Whiteside homered twice for the host Baysox (19-18), but the Aeros (19-17) scored three in the fifth to take the lead and held on.

Single-A Carolina League

Myrtle Beach 7, Frederick 0: The host Keys (7-30) couldn't score, despite nine hits. Starter Blaine Boyer pitched six shutout innings and Jonathan Schuerholz drove in two for Myrtle Beach.

Single-A South Atlantic League

Delmarva 10, Savannah 2: Mike Russell's three-run homer helped the host Shorebirds (20-18) to a four-game sweep of the Sand Gnats (17-21).

Columbus 5, Hagerstown 1: Zach Hammes pitched seven shutout innings, helping the visiting Catfish (21-16) top the Suns (15-22).
