Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Theft: A CD player and stereo equipment - all valued at $300 - were stolen over the weekend from a 1994 Jeep parked in the 300 block of W. Lanvale St.

Robbery: Two men, one with a knife, assaulted a woman, 29, in the 100 block of N. Howard St. about 2:30 p.m. Sunday and robbed her of $20, a cell phone and a bus pass.

Theft: A handicap placard was stolen Sunday from a 1994 Pontiac Firebird parked in the 500 block of W. Lexington St.

Southeastern District

Stabbing: Julian Battle, 23, of the 1200 block of N. Gay St. remained in serious condition at Johns Hopkins Hospital after being stabbed in the back by a man during a fight Friday in the 1300 block of S. Ellwood Ave.

Burglary: Several gold rings, a bracelet and a DVD player - all valued at more than $2,000 - were stolen Sunday from a house in the 1200 block of E. Lombard St.

Northwestern District

Burglary: Boots and tennis shoes were stolen over the weekend from Tennis Shoe Outlet in the 4100 block of Liberty Heights Ave. by someone who entered through a rear door.

Eastern District

Robbery: Police were seeking a man who entered Hobby's grocery store in the 1900 block of E. North Ave. about 7 p.m. Friday, threatened a female employee with a knife and fled with an undisclosed sum of money.

Theft: Someone entered a house in the 1600 block of N. Bradford St. on Sunday and stole $520 worth of money orders.

Theft/arrest: A man was arrested Sunday when he attempted to leave Rite Aid in the 400 block of E. North Ave. without paying for five bottles of lotion and several packages of soap - all valued at $86.

Assault: A woman, 25, was attacked by several other females in the 1300 block of N. Bond St. about 5:30 p.m. Sunday and was stabbed in the left arm by a woman wearing a small ring in her upper lip. The victim refused medical treatment.

Southern District

Burglary: More than 100 cartons of cigarettes and money - all valued at $4,000 - were stolen over the weekend from Reynolds Food Market in the 1100 block of W. Cross St. by someone who entered through the wall of an adjoining vacant house.

Assault: A man, 49, was in the Stock Market Bar in the 3500 block of S. Hanover St. on Sunday when another man entered and struck him with an iron bar. The victim was treated at Harbor Hospital and released.

Western District

Robbery: Police were seeking a gunman who robbed a woman, 22, of her purse containing $30 and credit cards as she walked in the 2300 block of Ashburton St. about 9 p.m. Saturday.

Baltimore County

Franklin Precinct

Robbery/arrests: Two 18-year-olds from Reisterstown were arrested early Sunday and charged with robbing Pizza, Pizza, Etc. in the 11900 of Reisterstown Road that day of more than $500 at gunpoint. One weapon turned out to be a pellet gun. Arrested separately near the scene less than two hours later were Jordan Polk of the 100 block of Carolstowne Road and Derek Frisby of the first block of Brookebury Drive.

Essex Precinct

Vandalism: Someone destroyed at least 10 mailboxes in two buildings at Pebble Creek Apartments in the first block of Timber Creek Court on Friday.

Burglary: A 2002 Honda moped valued at $1,600 was stolen over the weekend from the rear yard of a house in the 2200 block of Redthorn Road.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: Tools of unknown value were stolen Sunday from MTS Inc. in the 4000 block of Coolidge Ave. by someone who entered through the front door.
