New Positions

Classic Catering appoints Stepanian vice president

The Classic Catering People appointed Mary-Margaret Stepanian as vice president of public relations and marketing. She manages internal and external communications, advertising, press relations and marketing. Formerly with Weinberg Harris & Associates, the Homeland resident is active with several organizations including the academic advisory board of the College of Notre Dame of Maryland and the Baltimore Area Convention and Visitors Association.

Brown, Fisher, Aaronson take posts with MGH

MGH Advertising named Melissa Brown a media planning supervisor, Daron Fisher a senior advertising copywriter and Mitch Aaronson a media assistant for the Owings Mills-based agency.

Brown, formerly with Marriner Marketing and Communications, is a graduate of Frostburg State University and lives in Hampstead. Fisher, a graduate of Long Island University, oversees copywriting and creative direction for several assigned agency accounts. The Baltimore County resident was formerly with Gilden Advertising.

Aaronson, a Towson resident and graduate of Towson University, joined the firm at the beginning of this year as an intern, and has advanced to full-time broadcast and print media buyer.

Butta is media director for the Cotter Team

The Cotter Team, a marketing communications agency, said Cindy Butta joined the Ellicott City firm as media director. She oversees media planning and placement of advertising in broadcast, print and other media. Formerly a partner at Azzam Jordan Inc., the 30-year industry veteran has won several awards and was named one of the Top 25 Media Professionals by Advertising Age magazine.
