May 17, 2004

A brother and sister were stopped Saturday while traveling on Interstate 95 in East Baltimore and charged with possession of marijuana and Ecstasy, said a spokesman for Maryland Transportation Authority Police.

Ryan E. Dickson, 27, of Laurel was driving a 1997 Toyota Camry south on I-95 about 5:30 p.m. when Officer James Krusynski pulled him over for driving with only one Maryland tag, said Cpl. Greg Prioleau.

Moments later, police discovered 5 pounds of marijuana in the car's trunk. Found in the car's console was a small amount of Ecstasy, Prioleau said.

Dickson was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, Prioleau said. Shireen R. Dickson, 29, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was charged with possession of Ecstasy, said Prioleau.
