An Annapolis man was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with assault in connection with the stabbing of a Glen Burnie man, Annapolis police said.

Jermaine Donte Mitchell, 22, of the 600 block of Island Creek Court was charged with second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and weapons violations.

Mitchell is accused of stabbing a 32-year-old Glen Burnie man who police said was trying to break up a domestic fight Saturday in the 700 block of Newtowne Drive in Annapolis. Police say the victim suffered minor wounds to his back.
