Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northern District

Robbery: Two men, one with a handgun, robbed Ron's Market in the 2700 block of Miles Ave. of an undisclosed sum of money about 12:20 p.m. Tuesday.

Southeastern District

Burglary: Power and hand tools and two work lights -- all valued at $870 -- were stolen from a house under renovation in the 300 block of S. Ann St. between Saturday and Tuesday.

Robbery: Police were seeking a teen-age male who sprayed a 34-year-old man in the face with a chemical irritant and robbed him of $50 in the first block of S. Decker Ave. about 5 p.m. Monday.

Eastern District

Shooting: A 19-year-old man was walking in the 2600 block of E. Oliver St. about 10:15 p.m. Tuesday when a man riding a moped shot him in both legs. The victim was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Southern District

Theft: A set of golf clubs, two dozen golf balls and a bag of tools -- all valued at $1,298 -- were stolen Tuesday from a 2001 Ford Taurus parked in the 4000 block of 8th St.

Southwestern District

Robbery: A woman, 19, was walking in the 1300 block of Booth St. about 3:40 a.m. Tuesday when four men, one with a knife, robbed her of $65. She was cut on the hand and treated at Bon Secours Hospital.

Baltimore County

Parkville Precinct

Robbery try/arrest: A pupil at Parkville Middle School was arrested Tuesday and charged as a juvenile with attempted armed robbery of a fellow pupil while riding on a school bus that day. The victim, 13, told police the other youth demanded his money about 7:50 a.m. while threatening him with a 5-inch-long pocket knife. When the victim refused to give up his money, the other youth warned him not to tell anyone, police said. The victim told school authorities about the incident. Police were called to the school in the 8700 block of Avondale Road and the suspect, 14, was identified and arrested. He was later released into the custody of his father.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglary: Power tools valued at $730 were stolen Tuesday from a shed in the first block of Hayden Court.

Franklin Precinct

School burglary: Over the weekend, someone broke into Owings Mills High School and removed $200 worth of snacks from a concession stand.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: A 7.5-horsepower outboard motor valued at $525 was stolen from the rear yard of a house in the first block of Tea Rose Drive between April 25 and Sunday.
