Haven't yet embarked on this year's Maryland House & Garden Pilgrimage? Better get to it. Saturday is your last chance. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., you'll tour and learn about the architecture and history of eight homes, gardens and other structures in Baltimore County's Green Spring Valley / Caves Valley area. This is the 67th year for the tour, which benefits preservation and restoration in participating counties. The day's tour is $25. COMING UP

In the cool shade of towering beech trees this weekend, wine lovers will swish and swirl from among more than 100 samples and new vintages from 10 Maryland wineries. The outdoor festival, Wine in the Woods, will be at Symphony Woods in Columbia on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. each day. The event also features local jazz, rock and blues bands including Kelly Bell band, and more than 70 craft makers will showcase their wares. Admission is $18 in advance and $20 at the gate and includes a souvenir glass and 10 tasting vouchers.
