Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northwestern District

Burglary: Automotive tools and equipment valued at $4,100 were stolen over the weekend from Cami's Auto Sales in the 2600 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway.

Western District

Cutting: Two teen-age girls were fighting in the 1000 block of W. Saratoga St. about 6:15 p.m. yesterday when one cut the other on the left arm with a knife. The injured girl was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center. The other was arrested at the scene.

Southeastern District

Theft from vehicle: A jacket and a 35 mm camera were stolen Sunday from a 2001 Volvo parked in the 1500 block of Thames St. The items were valued at $300.

Eastern District

Robbery: After a driver for Yellow Cab took a female passenger to the 1000 block of Somerset St. about 6 a.m. Sunday, the woman grabbed him around the neck from behind and demanded his money. The 71- year-old driver fought off the woman, who fled with his car keys.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 1200 block of N. Caroline St. early Sunday and stole several pieces of jewelry and a coin collection.

Theft: Several CDs, a portable radio, car jack and a CD player - all valued at $435 - were stolen Sunday from a 1990 Honda Acclaim parked in the 800 block of N. Streeper St.

Southern District

Theft: A woman's purse containing $400 and a credit union card were stolen at a flea market in the 1400 block of Patapsco Ave. on Sunday afternoon.

Burglary: A gold necklace, coins and video games - all valued at $360 - were reported stolen Sunday from a house in the 700 block of Dover St.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Burglaries/arrest: A man was arrested and a second was being sought in the burglaries of two houses in the 10400 and 10600 blocks of Bird River Road early Sunday. Taken was lawn-care equipment valued at more than $2,300. Arrested by Officer George Koller near the scene of one break-in and charged with the burglaries was Timothy E. Gilpin, 35, of the 7600 block of Cypress Ave.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: A generator, electrical cord, hedge trimmer and circular saw - all valued at $870 - were stolen Sunday from a shed in the 6800 block of Richardson Road.

Wilkens Precinct

Church burglary: A combination TV/VCR valued at $200 was stolen over the weekend from Holy Nativity Church in the 1200 block of Linden Ave. by someone who entered through a window.
