Celsion names Finkelstein VP, general counsel

Celsion Corp. appointed Anita J. Finkelstein vice president and general counsel. She joins the Columbia-based biotechnology company from Venable LLP, where she was a partner in the regional law firm.

A graduate of Yale Law School, Finkelstein is also a certified public accountant.

Banking and Finance

BB&T appoints Scheller senior vice president

BB&T Corp. appointed Rick Scheller senior vice president, based at the Columbia offices. The Loyola College graduate joined the bank in 1997 from First National Bank of Maryland.

Scheller lives in Fallston and is a member of the quality circle steering committee of the Small Business Administration's Baltimore district office.

Health Care

McClellan is MedStar VP of corporate development

MedStar Health named Dennis K. McClellan vice president of corporate development for the Columbia-based community health care organization.

A graduate of Furman University, he formerly was an assistant dean at the engineering school of the University of Maryland, College Park.


Agro joins STV as VP, regional manager

STV Inc. announced that John A. Agro Jr. joined the STV Group firm as a vice president and manager of its South Atlantic region.

Before joining the Woodlawn-based engineering, architectural, planning, environmental and construction management firm, the University of Baltimore graduate and Fallston resident was a senior vice president for an international engineering and construction firm.
