Ottawa 5, Pawtucket 2: The host Lynx (11-15) scored four runs in the second to key the win over the PawSox (14-12).

Double-A Eastern League

Bowie 3-1, Erie 2-0: The South Division-leading Baysox (16-9) completed the sweep at home.

Single-A Carolina League

Winston-Salem 6, Frederick 3: The visiting Warthogs (9-15) led 6-0 after five innings. Sean Tracey (2-1) got the win and Dwayne Pollok earned his fifth save. Paul Henry (0-2) took the loss.

Single-A South Atlantic League

Kannapolis 2-4, Delmarva 1-5: Brandon McCarthy struck out seven as the host Intimidators (12-11) beat the Shorebirds (10-13) in the first game. In the second game, the Shorebirds' Nick Markakis drove in the winning run in the top of the seventh with a double.

Hickory 1-3, Hagerstown 0-4: Brad Rea scored the only run of the first game on an RBI double in the sixth inning for the visiting Crawdads (12-11). The Suns (9-14) managed only one hit off of Thomas Gorzelanny (2-0) as they were shut out for the third time this season. Hagerstown scored four runs in the sixth inning of the second game to split the series.
