No. 5 St. Paul's held Andrew Baird and Ben Rubeor of No. 2 Loyola to three points as the host Crusaders squeaked out an 8-7 Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association A Conference win.

St. Paul's (14-3, 7-2) took sole possession of second place in the A Conference. Loyola fell to 10-3, 6-3.
