French pianist Thibaudet to take part in Q&A Friday

Jean-Yves Thibaudet, the remarkably talented French pianist known for his distinctive musical and fashion statements, will join the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra on Saturday for a performance of Beethoven's Emperor Concerto. He has also made time for a rare question-and-answer session with students and the general public from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the An die Musik record store, 409 N. Charles St. (second floor).

The question-and-answer session is free, but reservations are required, since seating is limited. To reserve a seat, or for more information, call 410-385-2638.
