Margaret H. Naylor, 48, homemaker, swim coach

Margaret H. Naylor, a homemaker and swim coach, died of cancer Saturday at her Mount Airy home. She was 48.

Known as Margy, she born Margaret Hughes in Baltimore and raised in Northwood. She was a 1973 graduate of Towson Catholic High School, where she played basketball.

She was a telemarketer at Word Among Us, a religious book and magazine store in Urbana.

Mrs. Naylor was an assistant coach of the Lake Linganore Dolphins, a New Market swimming team for children and teens. She also taught swimming.

A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 11 a.m. tomorrow at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church in Mount Airy, where she was a member and did evangelical work.

Survivors include her husband of 16 years, Ricky C. Naylor, a Safeway meat cutter; a son, Kyle Naylor, and a daughter, Britney Naylor, both of Mount Airy; her mother, Alice Burch Hughes of Towson; two brothers, Michael Hughes of Lutherville and Thomas Hughes III of Catonsville; and a sister, Mary Lee Kroneberger of Cockeysville.
