Senior Stephen Brundage scored three goals while freshmen Matt Cassalia and Jordan Rabidou each added two as Loyola rolled to a 12-8 win over Yale on Saturday afternoon.

The Greyhounds (4-7) used a seven-goal second quarter to get the win at Geppi-Aikens Field.

"It felt great to finally play together," says Brundage. "If you look at the statistics, everybody contributed. The defense, the midfield, the offense - everyone played well and that's what you need to do to win."

For the second week in a row, the Greyhounds were shutout in the first quarter. Yale got two goals from Ned Britt and led 2-0 at the first intermission. Loyola responded by posting a season-high goal total for any quarter with five Greyhounds scoring seven goals.

Loyola closes out the regular season with No. 1 Johns Hopkins at Geppi-Aikens Field next Saturday. That game will be televised by WMAR-TV2 and can be heard live on WNST AM 1570. Faceoff is slated for 1:08 p.m.
