Fined Phillies 3B David Bell and Marlins P Carl Pavano undisclosed amount for aggressive actions during incident. Suspended Cubs P Kerry Wood five games and fined him undisclosed amount for inappropriate actions in April 17 game against Reds. Suspended Cubs manager Dusty Baker one game and fined him undisclosed amount for actions in April 16 game against Reds.

ANGELS: Placed OF Garret Anderson on the 15-day DL, retroactive to April 22. Recalled IF Alfredo Amezaga from Triple-A Salt Lake.
